I am in an unsafe situation. While I'm not beaten, I am emotionally and mentally abused. My step-father gropes me and sexualizes me constantly. Unfortunately, I am stuck with him until I move out.
The house I am in is infested and falling apart. We don't have gas and the temperature is dropping to the point we have to wear layers inside. I cannot take a warm shower nor can I cook food.
I'm currently living with 5 male cats, 2 male kittens, 2 female cats, 1 female kitten, and 1 female dog. We can barely afford food for all of them.I am desperate to get out of this place and away from these people.
Thankfully, I will be moving in with a family friend on the third of October(10/03/2026) and I will have three(3) months of rent paid for me. During this time, I will be applying to as many jobs as possible and I will be finding other forms of income (an online Kandi shop and neighborhood bake sales).
When I move in with this family friend, I will be taking the three female cats. Commissions will help feed the girls and getting supplies for them (a litter box, feeders, water bowls, beds, a few toys, and scratchers, and collars) so they can live comfortably and safely.
Extra money will help spay them, but the family friend is willing to pay the entire procedure. I want to either help or pay back some of the procedure costs.I am unemployed. Not by choice, though. Employers are rejecting me. Whether a day or two after my interview or within a week of my application. Some of them haven't even gotten back to me - flat out ghosting me.
Commissions are my only form of income. I am desperate for funding.I am also uninsured. I have not had health insurance in years - meaning I've not been to a doctor for my bone issues, I've not been to a psychologist or psychiatrist for my mental issues, or an eye doctor for an updated prescription in YEARS. My glasses are extremely scratched up and the lenses are damaged, the prescription is outdated, and I can't afford a new pair.Commissions would help me get insurance for the first time in years so I can start seeing the professionals I need and getting the aid(glasses/contacts & medication) that I need.
Commissions will also be how I afford an e-bike and equipment (helmet, gloves, and a storage basket) so I don't have to rely on friends and public transportation to get to work and get groceries.As of 08/22/2026:
I am trying to move into an apartment. I have a fundraiser for 2500 USD ($2,500) that I hope to reach by the late end of September next year (25-30 09 of 2027).
I have several places in mind, all in the same general price range. Money from the fundraiser is specifically for apartment funds. The first month of rent, the security deposit, the pet deposit, and any entry or application fees.
Money left over from the fundraiser will go towards shopping with commission money. Groceries, pet supplies I don't have prior, appliances that aren't provided by the complex, and furniture if I move into an unfurnished unit.When I move on my own, I will b taking the female kitten and possibly one of the adult female cats.My portfolio contains writing pieces and art examples.
